Site Plan

A site plan is required for building permit applications. The purpose of the plan is to show the relationship of the proposed structure to the property and specific property features identified on the site plan checklist. There is no specific form for drafting the site plan as properties vary greatly in size and configuration. The applicant is responsible to accurately show the required information from the checklist. Customers may find it helpful to research the following departments; county auditor’s recorded documents, assessor records, or aerial photos to ensure that all structures and property dimensions are correct. Title reports may also be of assistance in finding this information.
